Mexico D.F., 17 January 2014. PBI is seriously concerned over unfounded allegations against the Cerezo Committee and calls on the authorities to guarantee their safety. The Cerezo Committee, organization accompanied by PBI since 2002, carries out the legitimate defense and promotion of human rights in Mexico. PBI is convinced that the allegations are ungrounded and, furthermore, that they expose the Committee's members to a situation of vulnerability. PBI is closely monitoring the Committee's security situation.
