Conclusions of the third seminar between civil society in the context of the High-Level Dialogue on Human Rights between the European Union and Mexico

Mexico City, 16 April 2015.- After another bilateral High-Level Dialogue on Human Rights between the European Union (EU) and Mexico, Civil Society Organizations from both the EU and Mexico presented their conclusions which may be consulted here (available only in Spanish).

Joint public statement: International Organisations urge Mexican authorities to guarantee the security and integrity of relatives of the disappeared students of Ayotzinapa and of their representatives

March 16th, 2015 – Several international organizations express deep concern regarding recent reports according to which, members of the Tlachinollan Human Rights Centre, as well as other human rights organisations and the families and friends of the 43 disappeared students from Ayotzinapa, continue to suffer security incidents, putting their physical and psychological integrity at risk.

On 13 February 2015, the concluding observations of the United Nations Committee on Enforced Disappearances (CED) review of Mexico were released,[1] following the review of the first report submitted by Mexico, which took place on 2 and 3 February, in the framework of the 8th session of the CED[2].
