PBI has country groups in 18 countries in Europe, North America and Australia. The Country Groups organize speaking tours with accompanied human rights defenders in each country and organize delegations to Mexico so that others can learn about the situation for human rights defenders in Mexico. The goal of these activities is to create and strengthen international support networks, which are vital for accompanied human rights defenders. Human rights defenders share their story with government officials, members of parliament, NGOs and in public events, in this way further disseminating knowledge about the Mexican reality and the cases of at-risk human rights defenders.

In addition, the Country Groups also raise awareness about human rights, and support the projects with fundraising and volunteer recruitment.

Contact your country group to participate in their activities.
